Day – 1

On arrival, guests will be received at the airport by Destinaro representative who will be your tour guide and companion for the whole duration of your tour in Bhutan.

Day Short Description of the Day Visitable Place
Day 1: Arrival: Station -Phuntsholing On arrival, guests will be received at the train station by Destinaro representative who will drop you to Bhutan India border.

Day 2: Phuntsholing -Thimphu. Have breakfast proceed towards Thimphu. You can enjoy the scenery on the way to Thimphu. Have lunch on the way. If you reach Thimphu early you can start your sightseeing.
  • Tashichho Dzong
Day 3: Thimphu- Thimphu Sightseen at Thimpu & Over Night Stay at Thimpu
  • Kuensel phodrang
  • Motithang Takin preserve
  • Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory
  • Folk Heritage Museum
  • Memorial Chorten
  • Changangkha Lhakhang
Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha “Post breakfast, drive toward Punakha, stop at Dochula Pass (3,100 m), where on a sunny day, you can get stunning views of the Himalayan ranges.
Overnight at Punakha.

    • Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility)

(NOTE: The temple and has some sexual depictions. You may want to reconsider visiting this place if you are not comfortable)

Day 5: Punakha – Paro After breakfast, trace the road back up to Dochula. Post lunch drive to Paro, on the way visit Tamchog Lhakhang.
Overnight at Paro.

Day 6: Paro, Tiger’s Nest Hike Have early breakfast and drive up to the base of Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest).The most famous and sacred site among all the places in Bhutan. Guru Padmasambhava is said to have come riding on a flying tigress to this place and
meditated in a cave for 3 months, it wasn’t until Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal came to this place and meditated that it gained the popularity that it has now.

Day 7:Paro- Phuntsholing. Overnight at Phuntsholing.
